KARACHI: The weather in the provincial capital turned pleasant on Tuesday as light rain and drizzle lashed several parts of the city. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the sky remains partially to fully cloudy across the metropolis, with light showers reported in several localities including Gulistan-e-Johar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, University Road, Maripur, and Mochko.
The PMD has predicted light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms for Karachi today. Residents can also expect gusty winds blowing at speeds between 10 to 40 km/h from various directions throughout the day.
Regarding the technical data, the Met Office recorded a minimum temperature of 18.6°C today, while the maximum temperature is expected to range between 26°C and 28°C. Humidity was recorded at 91% this morning with visibility limited to 600 meters. Over the next 24 hours, humidity levels are expected to fluctuate between 45% and 95%. While yesterday’s maximum temperature reached 27.7°C, the minimum temperature for tomorrow is likely to stay between 17°C and 19°C.
