KARACHI: In a major crackdown on industrial hazards, the Keamari district administration sealed five factories for failing to comply with fire safety regulations.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Keamari, Amir Fazal Owaisi, stated that the action is part of an ongoing safety audit survey across industrial units and factories in the district. The initiative aims to ensure the implementation of mandatory fire safety protocols to prevent life and property loss.
According to the DC, strict measures have been put in place to enforce safety laws not only in industrial zones but also in commercial buildings throughout Keamari. “We are committed to ensuring a safe working environment and will not tolerate any negligence regarding fire safety standards,” Owaisi added.
