MUMBAI: Mumbai Police have arrested Nadeem Khan, an actor featured in the Bollywood film Dharandhar, following allegations of sexually assaulting his domestic worker over a period of 10 years. The arrest took place on January 22 after a 41-year-old woman filed a formal complaint against the actor. According to the victim, who has previously worked as domestic help for several actors, she became acquainted with Nadeem Khan several years ago.
The victim alleged that the Dharandhar actor repeatedly assaulted her over the last decade under the false pretext of a marriage proposal. These incidents reportedly took place at both the victim’s residence in Malwani and the actor’s home in Versova.
Based on the victim’s statement, Mumbai Police have registered a case and taken the suspect into custody for further investigation. A police official confirmed the development to Indian media, stating that the legal process is underway following the registration of the First Information Report (FIR) against the actor.
