KARACHI: The Karachi Police have successfully apprehended a suspect involved in a robbery at a local temple, recovering stolen idols, silver jewelry, and cash. While one suspect is in custody, his accomplice remains at large.
Event Details The incident took place on January 14 at a temple located near Dolly Khata. According to police officials, two suspects broke into the religious site and made off with several valuable items.
The Investigation Police utilized CCTV footage to identify and trace the culprits. This led to a successful raid where one of the suspects was arrested. During the operation, law enforcement recovered 5 statues (idols), brass and copper utensils, silver jewelry, and 75,000 PKR that was stolen from the donation box and jewelry cases.
Current Status The arrested suspect is currently undergoing interrogation to provide leads on his partner. The police have initiated further raids to ensure the arrest of the fleeing accomplice.
