KARACHI – A tragic road accident involving a speeding car within a private housing society on the Super Highway resulted in the death of one person and left another critically injured.
Incident Details
According to details provided by the Gadap City Police, the accident occurred near the “Dumper Cut” within a private residential project. The victims were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical assistance.
The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Nadir, son of Noor Muhammad. The injured person has been identified as 30-year-old Tariq, son of Nizam-ud-Din.
Cause of Accident
SHO Gadap City, Sarfraz Jatoi, stated that the incident was caused by overspeeding. Reportedly, the car was traveling from the opposite direction and, in an attempt to avoid a head-on collision with an oncoming Vigo truck, lost control. The vehicle crashed violently into the footpath and an electric pole.
The impact was so severe that the car was completely destroyed. Police have initiated legal proceedings and are further investigating the circumstances of the crash.
