Hunting Trip Turns Tragic: Boat Capsizes Near Keti Bandar; Two Karachi Residents Missing

KARACHI / KETI BANDAR – A recreational hunting trip turned into a disaster when a boat carrying eight people from Karachi capsized in the open sea near Keti Bandar on Wednesday.

The Incident The group had reportedly travelled from Karachi to the coastal belt of Keti Bandar for bird hunting. According to initial reports, the vessel was hit by powerful waves and turbulent weather, causing the boat to lose balance and overturn in the deep waters.

Rescue Efforts Upon witnessing the accident, local fishermen nearby launched an immediate rescue operation. Their swift response saved the lives of six individuals who were pulled from the sea. However, two members of the group remain missing.

Search Operation Underway Local volunteers and fishermen are currently scouring the area to locate the two missing persons. Authorities have cited rough sea conditions and high tides as the primary reasons for the mishap.
