KARACHI (Staff Reporter) – Allama Shabbir Hassan Maithami, Central Secretary General of the Shia Ulema Council (SUC) Pakistan, has warned that the provocative policies of US President Donald Trump are pushing the world toward a catastrophic global conflict.
In a hard-hitting statement, Allama Maithami highlighted several key points regarding the current geopolitical situation:
- Threat to Global Peace: He stated that the actions of “global imperialism” and their local affiliates are aimed at destabilizing peace in Iran, proving that they remain fearful of the Islamic Revolution.
- Warning of World War III: Allama Maithami asserted that the US President’s obsession with power and capitalist mindset is a threat to humanity. He warned that if Trump does not change his behavior, a third world war will become inevitable.
- Violations of International Law: The SUC leader specifically condemned the American intervention in Venezuela and the reported threats against President Maduro, calling them a blatant disregard for international law and global institutions.
- Provocation of Global Powers: He noted that US intentions are increasingly provocative toward major powers like Russia and China, which further destabilizes global security.
- Call for Unity: Allama Maithami urged third-world nations to form a united front and develop a joint strategy to resist “American tyranny and imperialism.”
