KARACHI: In the midst of the destruction caused by the massive fire at Gul Plaza, a heart-touching video has surfaced showing that the mosque located on the first floor of the shopping mall remained miraculously safe from the flames.
A Scene of Divine Protection According to details, while a large portion of the building was gutted by the inferno, the mosque on the first floor, along with the copies of the Holy Quran kept on the racks, remained completely intact. A video recorded by a rescue worker during the search operation has gone viral on social media, showing the interior of the mosque untouched by the fire.
Racks and Mats Unharmed Despite the surrounding destruction, the shelves holding the Holy Quran, the prayer mats (Safs), and other items inside the mosque were found in their original condition.
The rescue worker who filmed the scene noted that while the heat inside and around the mosque was intense and suffocating, the fire did not enter the prayer area, leaving the sacred books and the floor coverings without a single burn mark.
Traders and rescue personnel have described the scene as a miracle, providing a moment of spiritual solace amidst one of the city’s worst fire tragedies.
