KARACHI: In a major inter-agency operation, the Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA), Joint Maritime Information Coordination Center (JMICC), and Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Sindh successfully foiled a massive drug smuggling attempt in the Arabian Sea.
The Operation Acting on precise intelligence, the joint forces intercepted a “stateless” vessel in the open sea. Upon boarding and conducting a thorough search, authorities recovered over 1,300 kg of hashish and a significant quantity of illegal liquor.
Impact and Coordination According to the PMSA spokesperson, the seized contraband holds an estimated international street value of over PKR 20 billion. This operation represents a massive financial blow to regional drug trafficking and smuggling networks.
