KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic bus fire incident in Dadu, which resulted in the martyrdom of several police personnel. Terming the incident “heart-wrenching,” the Chief Minister stated that this loss is a tragedy for the entire nation.
According to a spokesperson for the CM House, Murad Ali Shah has ordered an immediate and transparent inquiry into the incident, asserting that those responsible will face the strictest action. He emphasized that no negligence or dereliction of duty would be tolerated.
Paying tribute to the fallen officers, the Chief Minister said, “Sindh will never forget the sacrifice of its protectors. The state owes a debt to the uniform of these martyrs, and the government will fulfill its responsibility at all costs.”
The Chief Minister further announced that the provincial government would provide full financial and legal support to the families of the martyrs. Additionally, the Sindh government will bear all medical expenses for the injured personnel.
He directed the relevant authorities to ensure the best possible medical facilities for the wounded and demanded a comprehensive report on the incident to be submitted immediately.
