KARACHI: The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has officially granted Biman Bangladesh Airlines permission to operate three weekly flights between Dhaka and Karachi. Following the successful resumption of its operations, the airline is set to add a third weekly frequency to its current schedule. The decision to integrate this additional flight will be based on market demand, passenger load factors, and other commercial considerations.
Currently, the airline operates two weekly flights using Boeing 737 aircraft. This new approval allows for a third flight to cater to the increasing travel demand between the two cities. It is worth noting that Biman Bangladesh Airlines resumed its Pakistan operations on January 29 after a 14-year hiatus, initially flying on Thursdays and Saturdays. This expansion is expected to strengthen connectivity and facilitate smoother travel for passengers flying between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
