KARACHI – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil Sheikh has hailed the massive public turnout at Bagh-e-Jinnah during the visit of KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, calling it a testament to the party’s deep-rooted organizational strength.
A Historic Welcome In a video statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), Sheikh expressed profound gratitude to the people of Sindh for the “historic” reception given to CM Sohail Afridi—who visited as a representative of Imran Khan—during his four-day tour of Karachi, Hyderabad, and Jamshoro.
Defying Obstacles Highlighting the unconventional nature of the gathering, the PTI leader noted that Bagh-e-Jinnah was packed to capacity despite the absence of a traditional stage or container. “This proves that PTI is not a ‘one-man show’ but a robust public and organizational movement. Even state-created hurdles, the drama over NOCs, and police actions could not deter the power of the people,” he asserted.
A Momentum for Change The PTI leader stated that the tour has injected new momentum into the party’s struggle in Sindh. He vowed that the party would not let this energy fade and would continue to strengthen its presence across the province.
Regional Solidarity Haleem Adil Sheikh also extended his thanks to the guests who traveled from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Balochistan to participate in the events, emphasizing that the people of Sindh have once again proven their unwavering loyalty to incarcerated leader Imran Khan.
