KARACHI – A Judicial Magistrate (South) has granted bail to Armaghan, an accused individual also implicated in the high-profile Mustafa Amir murder case, in a separate lawsuit involving the operation of an illegal call center.
Court Proceedings During the hearing, the court ordered the accused to submit a surety bond of Rs. 100,000. The magistrate ruled that Armaghan should be released if he is not wanted in any other ongoing criminal cases.
Defense Arguments The defense counsel, Advocate Khurram Abbas, argued that the investigation against his client was completed in 2025, yet the prosecution failed to present a single piece of concrete evidence. He further maintained that there are no formal complaints or witnesses linking the accused to the illegal call center operations.
Legal Challenges Despite this bail, Armaghan’s legal troubles remain significant. He is currently facing trial in several other serious cases, including:
- The Mustafa Amir murder case.
- Possession of illegal weaponry.
- Charges related to money laundering.
The release of the accused depends on the status of his bail applications in these aforementioned pending trials.
