KARACHI: Following unprovoked attacks by the Afghan Taliban regime on the Pakistani border, the youth of Karachi organized a massive late-night rally to express solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces. The demonstration comes in the wake of Pakistan’s announcement of Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, a military response launched to counter recent cross-border aggression.
Participants marched through various neighborhoods of Karachi, carrying national flags and chanting slogans in favor of the Pakistan Army to show their solidarity with the troops. The protesters also raised slogans of “Afghan Ehsan Faramosh” (Afghan Ungrateful), expressing their outrage over the hostility from the neighboring regime despite Pakistan’s decades of support. Rally participants vowed to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the military, stating that the entire nation is united against any threat to the country’s sovereignty and is fully committed to the defense of the motherland.
Joining the chorus of national defense, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar issued a strong statement regarding the escalation. He prayed for the safety of the nation and asserted that Afghanistan’s provocations would be met with a decisive response. “We will not hesitate to confront the threats facing Pakistan. Every enemy of the state will be brought to justice,” Barrister Gohar stated, emphasizing that the political leadership stands firm with the security forces as they respond to the challenges on the western border.
